The successful network marketer knows that in the end he has to close the potential associate on joining his team and that he cannot rely on his company website to close the sale.
The website used by the associate could be the best website in the world. But websites do not close sales people close sales. People close sales by building relationships and that is something a website cannot do.
This is a numbers game; nothing is going to change this fact. Internet marketing can help a network marketer contact many people in a relatively short period of time but contacting a person and selling a person are two different things. Relationship is still the most important part of networking.
People who hear about a business opportunity are going to be skeptical this is only natural. People need to be assured, they need to be able to trust, they need to have their objections answered. Potential associates will not feel assurance from an internet marketing campaign. People only feel assurance when they are talking to a person voice to voice, person to person. The best way to convince a potential associate to join is to answer all of his or her concerns. Another name for concerns is objections.
People want to know their up line. A person who is thinking of joining a business wants to know his or her business partner. The internet cannot build relationship between an up line and his down line. The new network marketing that involves the internet a means to connect with people fast. But the foundation of networking is based on relationship building which can only be done by people interacting on a personal basis.
